Yu-Gi-Oh! Now a Guinness World Record Holder

With more than 22.5 billion cards sold around the world, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game has been named as the best-selling card game of all time, according to publisher Konami Digital Entertainment. Yu-Gi-Oh! was added to the Guinness World Records last month. "We are amazed and humbled by the overwhelmingly positive response that Duelists from every corner of the world have had toward the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game," said Kazumi Kitaue, Chairman and CEO of Konami Digital Entertainment.

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a strategy game in which players create individual decks of cards collected from Structure Decks and Booster Packs. Two players engage in a duel by using cards that represent monsters, spells and traps.
